Direction guidance cables are used in Valley linear irrigation systems. They are running along one span (in front and behind) and are connecting arms witch control switches that start or stop drive motors. In that way they keep the linear irrigation system aligned with the ditch, pipeline or any other linear source of water.

Guidance cables that we produce maintain almost constant length even after being under tension for years, which is cruical for normal operation of the irrigation system. That is one of the reasons why we were OEM for Sever's Valley irrigation systems back in the 90's. They are made from 2.5mm(1/10") zinc-coated cable, in order to withstand atmospheric conditions.

Overhang support cables are used for supporting the overhang at the end of both center pivor and linear irrigation system. In order to maximize irrigated surface, all Valley irrigation systems can have overhangs at the free end of the system.

For different lengths of overhang there are different sets of support cables. Sets can have different number of including cables depending of the overhang length. At both ends they have appropriate fittings which are pressed on the cable. They are made from 6.75mm(1/4") zinc-coated cable, in order to withstand atmospheric conditions.
